Wave Riding SUP Lessons

SUPing ‘Out the Back” is the ultimate experience and it’s where the obsession begins. WAVE RIDING SUP lessons are designed to teach you how to catch waves using a stand-up paddleboard and paddle.

Wave RidingAfter you have developed good paddling skills and are confident with your stand up paddleboard in calm water, you may want to add an exciting new dimension by taking your paddleboard into surf conditions. You may have completed the Intermediate SUP sessions or you are already a competent surfer that has the basics of SUP and now you are ready to take on unbroken waves. This can be a very frustrating phase in your SUPing development but it offers the most reward. Catching your first unbroken wave and riding it across the face – it’s something that you never forget. Having a coach in the water with you is invaluable at this stage – someone to help you to read the wave, teach you to sit in the right spot, and then get you to commit to paddling into the wave. Our SUP instructors are excellent surfers and paddlers, a pre-requisite to teaching this amazing sport.
We offer two different wave riding packages.
